Each year, I give my students a survey to collect random facts about them or use information gathered from the get-to-know-you activities we’ve completed in class. Then, I create Kahoot or Blooket questions about the students in our class! For example, I may ask ‘which student has a dog named Snickers’, or ‘what is Megan’s favorite pizza topping’. I try to make sure each student has at least one question about them. Sometimes, more than one student has the same answer to a certain question, so I simply set those Kahoot questions to have more than one answer, allowing students to see what they have in common with others! My students love this activity, but it can be time-intensive to set up! However, you can come back to this Kahoot throughout the year, making it a worthwhile investment! You’ll also get to know your students better by reviewing their answers! Download this freebie to get your own copy of the Google Form that I use with my own students!
